OUR COMMUNITY
The Del Cerro community consists of 120 properties at the southern end of Crenshaw Blvd. in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes. Del Cerro consists of two tracts of properties developed by Palos Verdes Properties, all of which are at least a half-acre in size. Most of the properties were developed in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Saturday April 26th at Hesse Park join Assembly Member Al Muratsuchi in a town hall meeting to discuss Wildfire Preparedness for our community.
Another Important Upcoming Meeting
RPV is also sponsoring an update on the proposed fire hazard zone regulations regarding defensible space, including potential impacts on brush clearance and Zone Zero, on Wednesday, April 30th, at 6pm at Hesse Park, McTaggart Hall (flyer attached). The meeting will also be livestreamed on YouTube @rpvchannel33 and broadcast live on RPVtv Cox 33/FiOS 38.

Lomita Sheriff Station

Del Cerro Trash Pick Up
Trash (grey container), Recycle (blue container), and Garden Waste (green container), are picked up every Wednesday. Please put out trash no later than 4 pm Tuesday and remove no later than 10pm Wednesday evening.
For bulky items, we are allowed 4 items per pick up, four times a year. Call EDCO at 310.540.2977 or visit their website below for additional information.

TIDBITS of Del Cerro HISTORY
Beginning in 1955, the Federal government operated an Army radar fire control center on the Palos Verdes Peninsula to search for incoming enemy missiles during the Cold War. Radar domes were located at the top of the hill at the southern end of Crenshaw Blvd.
